Lsu is 37th nationally in OPS, 4th in k%, 14th in walk %, and 31st in runs created.
Last year they finished 83rd in OPS, 175th in k%, 238th in bb%, 54th in runs created,

Obviously our current numbers will drop as we get into sec play, but hopefully not to near that level.

Dont care how we score as long as we score, and ill take it currently

Heard he's off to a good start, but whoa Nellie, Kling has 6 HRs, hitting. 429, and hit a granny yesterday.

Runs are runs, I don't care how LSU generates them.

I didn’t think this would be a power hitting team. When I looked at the line up I figured we would be ok, but not exceptional.

I like how we appear to be able to generate runs without hitting home runs this year. Last year we relied too much in Tommy White and Bear to hit the ball out the park.

What makes the solo homerun random and a double in the gap not random?

I believe that yesterday’s game points a clear picture of the point I was trying to make whether you choose to see it or not. Being able to string together 17 hits in a game is far more sustainable path to victories than relying on home runs.
