he could have failed 3 already and won an appeal in the off-season giving him a chance to fail a fourth?

My concern is what happens when it happens again and its the night before the Alabama game? Or the week of the SECCG? I'm not saying it WILL happen again but "fool me once, shame on you....." I think Tyrann is a good guy probably but he's burned his bridges. Its just my opinion that we should turn the page. If Les feels differently then I hope it works out for the best

I feel the same way but I trust Les's judgement in this situation.

If we randomly test before Alabama or SECCG who is really at fault in that scenario?

true but if he can keep his nose clean for a year and a half up to that point in time before that game, it'd engender at least some modicum of faith...I'd prefer to believe that a kid can be reformed rather than look at it like it will blow up in LSU's face. Hell our own QB is "reformed" and our entire season rests on his shoulders. It is worth the chance.

If he is allowed to play again for LSU, I hope you guys are right. Hell, I hope yall are right if he goes to McNeese St. or anywhere else. I haven't read much on this since ~2:00PM. Has there been anything new?

not really, just a bunch of bullshite reported by a bunch of bullshitters (ESPN, glenn guilbeau).

the only thing we know is that Herb Vincent decided it was worth his time to clear up any misconceptions and state that TM could remain at LSU as a student. I'm taking that as a positive sign...

Perrilloux was a trouble maker before he ever got to LSU. Dude managed to get asked to leave (kicked out of) John Curtis. That takes some effort.

I can't help but think there is a bigger meaning behind all this. Almost a paradigm shift. His swag was off the charts, in some regards he may be considered a liability (re: the coaches). Maybe the team was getting out of control and they are doing everything they can to prevent a fiasco like last year. Maybe sacrifice the lamb to save the heard?

We have no idea what is going on in regards to off field issues and such. Another shady situation would look even worse. The timing of this (begining of fall camp), points to something along these lines.

But I still want him back

But the coaches no better and I believe they have enough faith in the talent behind him to make up for it (mostly).

His swag is a liability? Say what

The reason he was tested prior to fall practice was because of his track record and the desire to prevent this from happening mid season ( like last year ).

Conspiracy theories are fun, but I can't believe Miles is anti-swag. Have a nice day!

If he indeed failed #3 why was he practicing? Wasnt he supposed to be suspended? Did we violate NCAA rules? Seriously though if the KID which is what he is can clean up and serve his 1 year suspension then more power to him. Sometimes taking the most important thing in someone's life is what it takes for them to make changes for the better.

wow, memories.
i love the story of his mom holding lsu/les for mucho $$$. while the cam story was building.
she wanted $$$ for her son to play.
the whole frickin' family was nuts.

we had bad 08/09, but if rp would have played, we would have been fried by the ncaa.
lsu would've had a worse reputation than usc or penn state.
les has saved lsu from itself dozens of times.
i don't want a statue for les, i want a whole damned big cathedral built in the quad.

w/ a postscript that says lsu/les survived and succeeded in spite of the ranturds of the world.

i thought the teens who posted on the rant knew how to use google.

I am prone to being completely retarded at times. You will have to excuse me. It sounded better in my head. Should've left it there.
