im not concerned if he messes up next year during the season. It will be extremely sad but this team will have already played a year without him and if they do like they still should it wont be a huge blow losing him.

Just boggles my mind why Alleva would have such an internal policy that is stricter than anything the NCAA has.

Because we are LSU not Ala, Aub, or Tenn. We want a program with the highest standards and unquestioned honesty.

Well you can take this FWIW, my ex wife was the head of the drug testing program for LSU for 2 years. The un-written policy for LSU is fail 3 tests before we even bring it up to the school, much less the NCAA. You can rest assured TM7 has failed way more than 3 drug tests during his 2 years with the football program, and if you listen they are saying that they have put him in treatment and he has not responded at all. He's a great players and WAS a great tiger but at some point enough is enough and you gotta wish him well and play with the guys who want to do what it takes to be here and stay here. I wish the guy well and hope he gets his addiction under control and becomes a productive member of society in whatever fashion that is for him but it just sucks it won't be at LSU this season. Alleva didn't put the rule in place and would have done anything to get around it if he could. Keep in mind that nobody even knew he was tested much less failed so it wasn't forced to be made public.

Brilliant
While other schools pay for victories in one for or another (Either by having the highest paid coaching staffs or paying players directly or both) LSU will adopt the high principles.

I personally dont disagree with what you are saying but other schools will be quick to point out that no one will remember (10 years from now) that LSU was number 1 in high principles.

If TM7 goes to a conference foe some head/s at LSU need to roll.
At the very least their rules need to change to reflect the rules around the league.

Agree with you. Amazing how some see this as Alleva hating on TM7. These are the kinds of threads that make me hate some of the posters here.
