HC: O
OC: Einsminger
RB: Tommie Robinson
Inside WR: Mickey Jospeh
Outside WR/Passing game coordinator: Jerry Sullivan
OL: James Cregg

DC/ ILB: Dave Aranda
DL: Dennis Johnson
DB: Corey Raymond

SPT: Greg McMahon

Couple of questions:

Is E going to be a QB coach?
Am i missing someone?
If I’m not then who’s our 10th assistant?
Are we could to hire an OLB or TE coach?

10th coach will be another secondary coach according to "insiders"

You don’t have to be a dick. It’s not listed on LSU’s site.

Yeah i thought one of DA’s things he wants is a Safety coach. I wish we would have jumped on Ron cooper.

That leads to the next question- Who’s gonna coach TE and OLB?

Give me him over Raymond as the DB coach.

he was here 2009-2011. Let that sink in... look at the SC DBs before then. He is a GREAT DB coach.
TAMU was even better in 1 year with him. Arky will be much improved as well even with less talent.
The guy can coach.

Fuch that. I would love to have Raymond as CB coach and Cooper at S coach though.

No doubt. Raymond can coach and recruit. I would have loved to see Coop with this talent and Aranda working together with the front 7. Could have been legendary.

I suspect there will be another defensive coach added, particular, if not primarily for recruiting purposes. Raymond has handled the entire secondary for years (both CB's and Safeties) just fine. Johnson can handle OLB's if need be because otherwise what the hell would Ogeron do at practice if he's not primarily focusing on the DL?

On the other side of the ball Joseph is on the staff for ONE reason and ONE reason ONLY, to recruit New Orleans. Sullivan isn't recruiting (at least off campus) and I'm sure he can handle both "inside" and "outside" receivers. Joseph just needs a title and it can't be "recruiter of New Orleans talent coach"

For better or worse, this staff is largely titled towards making recruiting the #1 priority

That is nearly the same as Les’ staff minus Les. I’m still livid

Ensminger is the QB coach.

You're not missing anyone.

We don't know yet.

Aranda's guy for S coach stayed in the NFL. It's possible we still go S but it's also possible we go OLB depending on who's available. If it is S, then Aranda (and O and Meatball) will all pitch in at OLB. Inside receivers include TEs. McMahon and Cregg could also pitch in on TEs if needed.

Yes - Aranda is okay with coaching all the LBers if he gets a safeties coach.

Why do we have an inside and an outside WR coach?

Is this really the best way to build and sustain success.

Or is it better to hire coaches who may not be rock star recruiters, but can actually coach up hebplayers once they get here?

I would think players at this level, especially those with an eye toward the NFL, want coaching.

And Other players/recruits will see the results and of the teamnisnt well coached they will go elsewhere. No matter how good our recruiters are.

Raymond as left corner coach, maybe. Need to raid the NFL for a right corner coach.

I guess Dontae Jackson never listened to Raymond. He was feast or famine his whole career
