Ok, so maybe that was a bit strong but they a few and far between. Some dumbass wants to go play in the south land conference over the SEC then so be it. Most kids are scared of competition so of course they turn down LSU. I've seen SLU play, can't find a single player that would supplant any player on our current starting lineup.

An offer in baseball isn't the same as an offer at other full scholarship sports. I'm not saying this is the case for this one player but LSU might have offered him less than SLU offered. In baseball you have to take the percentage of a scholarship into affect when these guys make a decision.
