Basically what I meant by 12. Ok, 11 full, 1 at .7, then rest TOPS?

Players who qualify for TOPS get that academic scholly regardless of their baseball scholarship awarded.

So, yes.

A great DL is the first line of defense in football.
If you can't stop the run your offense will seldom see the field.

ask O why so many left when he took over or why people like Shelving didn’t work out initially or the other unicorn that I’ve forgotten? That fat head recruited them you fricking moron. He was the COACH DUMBASS.

As far as the Pitcher to a single dlinemen? You are a ducking ididiot of great proportions!
The Pitcher can control a game, but so does the QB with him reading the defense, etc.

They got tired of seeing the same teams winning. What came first, limiting scholarships,or increasing the size of the Ballpark in Nebraska.Them haters got tired of watching LSU hang up all of those National Championship Banners.

What are the requirements to qualify for (and keep) TOPS. I’m from TN where we have Hope and I doubt the majority of athletes would qualify if TOPS is in the same universe. Believe Hope is a 3.0 GPA AND a 21 or on the ACT in high school. You also have to maintain a 3.0 GPA throughout college and if it dips, you’re done forever. Limiting our additional 18 roster spots to guys who are eligible for TOPS would be idiotic, not to mention limiting those 18 spots to only in-state guys.

I don't have those requirements memorized. Sorry. I do know the requirements are not exactly difficult to achieve. The TOPS scholarship requirement is more difficult to maintain once the student starts LSU.

Morris was not a very highly sought after player in high school
Not true at all

He chose between LSU and Miss State, the two power programs in the south at the time

He was all state and def sought after, especially due to the fact his 4.0 GPA in high school allowed him to get academic scholarships that benefited the baseball team to not have to offer him athletic money

He had only walk-on offers at both. Go watch the documentary. He spells it out himself.

Because he was a 4.0 valedictorian that had full academic rides at both schools

Lol... let's tap the breaks on thinking this "from 1991 until 2008" vs "2009-present" stat as it was presented means that LSU should only have one title in the 18 years since Skip retired.

All that needs to be said about the parity in baseball is Coastal Carolina, Stony Brook(Didn't win it all but had I think 5-6 draft picks),Fresno St. Those teams had massive talent that would have went to other traditional powers in the 90's. The SEC top to bottom right now(last decade or so) is the best league that's ever competed in the same conference in the history of college baseball. That's a fact. If you refuse to understand how hard it is to compete at a championship level consistently then you just need to quit following the sport

Again, go watch the documentary. And if you choose not to believe Morris himself, then that’s your cross to bear. And if you truly believe that then tell me why guys like Eddy Furniss were on scholarship. Be honest, you read his bio on LSUsports.net and are now making assumptions.

What does “chic” mean?

Why should I get nervous about a baseball game? I’m looking forward to a fun weekend.

Unlike you, my happiness doesn’t depend on the outcome of sports events.
