Wow. This thread has really regressed. We went from Skip dropping good info to arguing over why Les purchased a condo right off campus. Does it matter why he did it? Some fans obsess of the silliest things.

Why you think Skip is talking now?

it really sounds like yall dont have a very stressful job. The truely impacts your family life from the time and energy you put toward that job.

Do tell.
After 40 years in Management I've had many stressful jobs. I've experienced long hours, on-call, budgets, crisis management, lay-off and restructuring decisions affecting real peoples lives and every thing in between. I never needed an apartment near the hospital or my office.
Also, I never knew Les was such a workaholic. I thought he valued family life more than Saban. You certainly would know that those long hours were spent in preparation and endless detail because the product rarely reflected that.
But please, Mr. Executive, educate us about having a stressful job.

Skip is getting old. Nothing wrong with giving people some insight. He isn't saying anything scandalous.

Earlier in thread someone stated that Ski admitted Saban wanted to return in 06 but there was nothing LSU COULD do because miles had only been there a year.

Salacious as all this is, none if it matters anymore. MIles Is fired. Only that that matters is the next coach. Hope we get a great one who brinGS us championships.

Saban went 9-2 in his last regular season, 9-3 with the lane duck bowl loss.

Don't forget that one of those 9 wins was the Oregon State game where their kicker missed 3 extra point attempts. Talk about luck!

Wanted to point that out to you so you're aware that Miles wasn't the only coach that needed a little luck to win a few games.

I had always heard that Terry Saban didn't want to leave BR. Supposedly she abhors Tuscaloosa, even though they are treated like royalty there.

She did like Baton Rouge when they were there but she is very happy in Tuscaloosa.
