Well, Doucet's bullshite tweet has worked to get people stirred up.

Am I just a romantic for liking the honest opinion when someone is asked a question?
I don't think it would have been dishonest to simply say he had no idea and that he was sure the current AD and head football coach would make the right decision. That's honest, and gives them nothing to run with.

It's what was relayed to me by someone involved in the incident.

No shite. That's why I didn't say "Doucet's bullshite question."
I said specifically, "Doucet's bullshite tweet."
In your non-stop quest to prove you're the smartest person on the board, how about you slow down long enough to comprehend what people are actually saying.

Do you even know who asked the question?
Doucet is attention whoring. It's not even his story.
No, that's what I said earlier. I am interested to know the context in which it was asked, what was the topic and how it was answered.

And for the person that actually did ask the question
A headline maybe...don't know. But so what? So it gets them attention and some headlines, how or why is that a bad things for LSu in relation to the Hill situation?
Do you think it puts more pressure on Miles/Alleva/LSU to take a certain discipline against Hill?
LSU can still do whatever they want, and if asked about Skip later just say that his opinion is respected but we have conducted our investigation with a strong want and came to the best conclusion for Hill and our program
I'm not saying anything good has to come from it, I just don't see the big deal either way. Why can't someone give their opinion??? Is the only answer because that social media goes on full tard mode?

But who cares if they have something to run with? What difference does it make? Why is that bad?
Seriously asking because I don't know. I mean, I guess I could see some extreme examples, but generally, I don't think this is an issue either way. In two weeks, Skips comment or refusal to comment will be a non issue.

Because it's blatant attention whoring. There is nothing going on that should keep this story in the news cycle. The next time anyone should be hearing anything about it is in the middle of next month.
But no, some Shreveport douchebag decides be self important and ask a stupid question to a guy that doesn't know when to shut his fricking mouth.

Opinion isn't news.
The tweet was bullshite. Just like you in this thread.

Yes. It's one thing to have idiots in the national media calling for Hill's head, but when you can quote the former AD saying HE think Hill will be booted, then yes...it may very well carry some weight.
quote:
LSU can still do whatever they want, and if asked about Skip later just say that his opinion is respected but we have conducted our investigation with a strong want and came to the best conclusion for Hill and our program
Of course...but if I'm Skip other than my inability to shut up, why put those guys in the position to have to answer for your comments?
quote:
Why can't someone give their opinion???
Because other than giving a quote to the press, what good comes from it? Does it help LSU, Miles, Alleva, Hill? I'd like to think that after having been a head coach at LSU and the AD, he'd respect those guy's positions enough to not make things more difficult for them. But then, maybe he doesn't...

I'll understand and we'll just have to agree to disagree.
His and everybody else's reaction just seems like it was somebody looking to sneak a sucker punch. Wasn't there, I'll never know but his 'bad judgment' is bringing a lot of negativity towards the program.

I've answered this numerous times. I can respect that you may not agree with it, but I have answered you.

Their job is to report on sports news. Not make sports news.
He tweeted it before the Shreveport people even reported it. He was looking to stir shite up and force a reaction. That's not his job. That's bullshite.

I get ya, and don't disagree. I just don't see why that's bad for LSU (certainly not good). So it will have some negative feedback on social media for a few days, heck maybe even a week. hell, maybe even a line on the sportscenter ticker....so what?
These questions will continue to come up until August 16 and/or a decision is announced by LSU.
They were going to asked when the team reports anyway.
I can't see what really changes for LSU.

If you look at the beginning of the video, the big guy is trying to continue a fight with the guy in the orange shirt, then Hill came and sucker punched him.
But ultimately, that situation has been resolved. Hill committed a misdemeanor, but if that brings negativity towards the program, then every program in the country is surrounded by negativity.

But they weren't coming up. That's the point. The next natural addition to the story happens on the 16th. There is no reason for someone to insert themselves into the story.
There was already enough bad press surrounding the incident. We don't need more bad press from someone asking the opinion of a guy who doesn't know shite about the circumstances, but has a name that national writers will latch onto.
