I think mid-week will help him get experience as a starter. History tells us that we will lose a starter or two due to injury at different points in the season. I would be good to have a guy with starting experience to plug into the weekend rotation if that happens.
We have 5 guys who are currently middle relievers who could start and do a good job on Tuesday, without having to use one of our key closing bullpen guys - Little, Coop, Ack, etc... Money, Edwards, Hellmers, Dutton, and Collins, off the top of my head.

Did they ever say what Noot's injury actually was and recovery time? I know he isnt pitching this year but wonder if he'd be back for summer ball or fall ball maybe.
