Skenes getting some run support

Through 4, Skenes has allowed 0 ER, 4K
I hope they let him pitch more than 5 innings and that the bullpen can hold the lead for him to get the win.

They seem to pretty consistently pull him at around 100 pitches.

5-8 with a 1.91 ERA. Don't know if that's unprecedented, but definitely hasn't happened very often.

Not often for sure. Nolan Ryan had a couple of seasons similar. 1987 was pretty bad for him. 8-16. 2.76 ERA. Higher ERA but somewhat the same type of season.

Remember the guy for the Mets going through that a few years ago. I think he won the Cy Young that year and may have had a losing record.
