actually they pulled him, with 2 outs in the 5th inning, up 11-5. Had men on second and third, and around 100 pitches.

His efforts and results were never sustainable. He’s a very good pitcher but at MLB level no one continually dominates. He’ll be well above average his entire career. But not untouchable

He isn’t coming back with a vengeance unless Livvy is out of the picture. Baseball is a lifestyle that is not for everyone. Offseason weight gain, trips, fancy restaurants, magazine covers, red carpet. Etc. Baseball does not accept a mistress except for a select few.
