Dude, with LSU's problems this year, this is the worst possible matchup this side of Texas Tech or Oklahoma.

I'd rather play Florida again than GT.

accuscore has LSU over GT and it seems to be the most accurate predictive model

In JEAUXBLEAUX's defense, he worries about his own taintstains...

Don't worry, I won't be. No way I'd drive 9 hours to watch an inferior GT team run through our D.

Good thing because I'd slap you in the fricking mouth

JJ will play well and the defense will stop the pass because GT has no passing game. GT only has running and LSU is good at the run. miles is a good bowl season coach so i think the tigers will win.

If and when LSU wins, this win of the ages should be monumental for our program with the way you're hyping it.

Our big safeties didn't do jack all year in run support except whiff on tailbacks as they went running by.

I still have memories of Jevan Snead dragging Coleman about ten yards for a TD. They couldn't tackle Barney Fife all season.

Did you miss the last bus stop? The Bandwagon left, but they are coming back to pick up the last load, I'd make sure and be there if I was you

Your optimism in the face of so much evidence to the contrary gives me hope.

I have a feeling that changes when they are not scared to death they are going to get burned like Darth Vader.

More than I care to admit. Did you happen to catch any GT games this year? Did you happen to catch a lot of LSU games this year......like say Troy, Arkansas, Ole Miss........?

Trust me, the GT coaches are pissing their pants with excitement at the prospect of facing the same LSU D we've seen all year.

Yep, we're mainly a rushing team. However, we're good enough passing to have passed for 47 first downs on 66 completions this year, with 27 completions over 15 yards and 14 over 25 yards, two over 80 yards. Just sayin'.

We normally don't have to do this. Just saying we can when we want to. So bring those safeties on up!

I agree. I believe folks will recognize an LSU they haven't seen in a while.

how far were most of those thrown down the field? were most of them screens that went a long way, or were there a good bit of downfield 15-25 yard passes?

Chick-fil-A Bowl Georgia Tech (9-3) vs LSU (7-5) The two teams went in opposite directions this season, with Tech rising to national prominence and LSU plummeting. But something tells me Les Miles will get the Tigers back on track, starting here. LSU 31, Georgia Tech 27
Which is why anyone with sense would take GT in the bowl game. You can cheer for whomever but "Picks" are about who a person thinks will win not who you want to win.

I agree. Jordan Jefferson is going to look good with the prep time he's having.
He may look good but it won't have much to do with that- he needs game-time experience and there's no substitute for that.
