He showed a lot of potential his first season, but so far hasn't lived up to that potential on the field.

I think people on here built Chaisson up a little too much. Yeah he has loads of potential but no stats to back it up yet.

Possibly. He hasn’t had an opportunity to prove himself yet though. He very well may live up to the hype as well

But he needs a lot more film than just getting held and pulled to the turf from behind all night by Texas.

If he doesn't gain 20/25 pounds it wont matter where he plays next year. He's to damn thin for NFL.

If he coast this year I think he’ll go 5-7 round maybe even to undrafted.

Look at Malachi Dupre he was a 1st rounder in the preseason of his junior year and he went undrafted

Chaisson needs to showcase his skills at the collegiate level.

He has not even made a whole season yet.......

There’s always enough film. Look at Cardell Jones from Ohio State.

one on one it's still not a good look...nfl tackles are better and bigger than the Texas tackle. We have only really seen him play 2 good teams in his college career.

That Cosmi is goin to be a top 15 pick no doubt about it

Danielle Hunter didn't do a whole lot on the field either. Chaisson is probably pretty close to Hunter in talent. That translates to going pro unless he wants to bet on himself and a much bigger paycheck.

Hunter also went in the 3rd round.

He has a great contract now, but he played way above his pay grade for his first 3 years.

Fear of another major injury might make him consider coming out for draft but his play needs to be much better down the stretch especially against teams in the SEC if he wants to get into that first round.

If he is slacking for fear of getting hurt, Chances are he will get hurt. I don’t think he is doing that this year. I just think he is getting held a lot. Somebody should teach him the rake and spin

with as injury plagued as his college career has been I would think he would go pro. most likely of the mindset to just give it a new start in the NFL

In fairness to the op, who was downvoted to death, it is true that chaisson has spent most if his career injured or rehabilitating from injury. Everyone agrees he has nfl talent but in my opinion WHEN he gets back on the field he needs to stay healthy if he is to get picked high.

Of course he’s going pro. That’s why he’s not playing

I don't think it matters how much he plays, he seems like the type of kid that will declare 3rd year no matter what.

Dominated by Texas ...

That’s a clown’s observation ...
Watched the game replay 5 times now ...

Chiasson was held 16 times negating his pass rush ... Watch the replay and see for yourself and show some FB SAAVY before knocking a great player ... The holds started after an amazing first defensive series ...

At the end of the game they started calling holding on Chiasson after he was literally being tackled ...
