How would I find out the value of a signed football from the 2003 NC team. It has about half the starters on it, with a few starters from following years and some other lesser known players. Signatures include names and numbers.

Here are some names: Devery Henderson, Ben Wilkerson, Marcus Randall, Travis Daniels, Rudy Niswanger, Nate Livings, Donnie Jones, Chad Lavalais, Randall Blue Gay, Jack Hunt, Eric Alexander, Michael Clayton, Paris Hodges, Terrell McGill, Brian Johnson, Kyle Williams, Matt Mauck, Lionel Turner and Shyrone Carey.

We are looking to auction it off for a fundraiser and I’m just curious if anyone would know value or where to find the value.

It’s a white football and has been kept in a sealed bag for the last 20 years.

It's worth whatever you can get for it. There's no real way to determine that except at auction.

I honestly own this piece as well. I wish I had a cert of authenticity. I am sure I could get one if I choose to sell. I bought mine on eBay around 2005 while in college for about $300. Not sure the historical value it holds, but I think it's a cool piece. I would imagine it would have to be worth more now than then...but I could be wrong.

My mother taught Lionel Turner in Jr High and worked with his mom and Dad. Lionel had 3 signed for mom. 2 were raffles off then and she kept the third one.

I’m sure Lionel would sign off on its authenticity.

I have no idea about a verification. I am sure I could get Lionel to sign something showing its authenticity and have it notarized.

For a ball without the majority of the team signing it around $150-200, if the football is in good condition and the signatures are sharp. Auction wise you could maybe squeak out more but base $150 should get bids.
