Year 2 - Lindsey medical issue and never coaches a game. Shuffled DLine coaching.

Brooks, the safety, medical issue never plays.

Smith recovering from ACL and doesn’t play up to expectations for a 5 star.

Yes, there was something between House and some of the players but House’s D was pretty solid in year 1 given the lack of depth.

His issue at LSU wasn't House's playcalling. It was his lack of speed.

But he’s excelling in an even faster league

Nothing funny about it. We all watched it. He had games where he was a tackling machine and then games that the other team blew right by him.

I have no doubt he is better now than he was, but the reality was that he was freakin slow for an LSU LB.

You are a fricking idiot and casual as fricking hell.

ETA- your post was understood just fine. “BKs first staff was bad on defense. Then somehow his second is even worse” it is very clearly understood that second refers to the second staff, not year. You never said anything about years.

Yeah he was slow . I was irritated thinking he would have 80 plus good tackles . He is Greg Penn truly . Good but slow for college

House set the program back 3 years. I think the defense will be a lot better next year. The freshman class, along with the transfer portal will really help. They just need to find a safety or two, in the portal.

Paralysis by analysis might have been his problem.

What could have been if only he’d have had Baker as his coach instead of that total imbecile…

Weeks said that Speights was super intelligent and he had a lot to learn. It was Perkins and his desire to play inside that made that all fail

OM success in NFL first year is a major indictment of the coaching ability at LSU on defense at the time. I never thought the kid had a chance....and I now know it wasn't his fault at all.
