Shouldn't there be some sort internal trial before expulsion?

You would think there would be some sort of internal trial where LSU could at least plead its case to the other members before they were expelled. Can all this be really as petty as it seems, that the commissioner has a bone to pick with LSU? It sure doesn't feel to reassuring though, that we will have to count on our rivals to bring sanity to the situation.

I don’t think it’s Sankey. At least not just Sankey. This is just as much a cabal of certain other SEC presidents and potentially ADs.

But yeah I think technically they have the right to do so, but they’ll just have to pay us a shite ton of money in damages.

According to the SEC constitution, no. The CEO's have a bunch of power in that document.
