I was being slightly facetious.
That said, I still think y'all are all being soft on this issue. I think Army players would say the same if the fans do anything but give them a regular OOC opponent game day experience. I can get on board treating them great before the game and after the game, but during it, why wouldn't it be the same just because they're Army players?
It's been a while since I've been to an OOC game there, so I'm not sure if people even boo them unless it's a top opponent like FSU or something.
We can respect the hell out of them, which I do, while still treating them as an opponent.

it's perfectly ok to respect the hell out of the Army players, yet still want to obliterate them in a competitive sport.
And I'd bet a lot of money that it would offend the Army players if they knew they were getting preferential treatment from opposing fans.

It’s a football game. Treat them like any other opponent because that’s what they are.
Cheer them at a military event. This is a sporting event.
