No. Lsu lost to ucla because o was a dog shite coach, not because they played a game the week before. Byu did it to us in 2017 and we kicked their arse
Hey genius 2001 I think or 2002 Texas pulled the same thing scheduled a warm-up game and beat LSU because of that game when Saban was the head coach the shite happens. That game is important it helps teams work out kinks and get over nerves.

I fricked up it was Va Tech..I was wrong and should not have been so critical

so ESPN can dictate who LSU plays and on what day? I understand if LSU has to move times to accommodate them. I doubt the Southern game was scheduled for ESPN anyway.

LSU makes their non conference schedule. Once the games and weekends are set the tv contracts the SEC has with the networks decide what time the game is. The teams get a say on what they prefer but ultimately it is the networks decision.

For home and homes the tv rights are in the contract they agree to. Usually whoever the home team is the conference contracts take precedence.

How would someone find out when Fla State scheduled the Dusquene game? If it was prior to us...bad on us and we need to research why we keep letting that happen.
If it was after...still bad on us because we don't have the intelligence to counter that strategy.

What now? We played Texas in the Cotton Bowl at the end of the 2002 season but what you’re saying here didn’t happen. We had both played 12 games prior.

Florida State can play as many warm up games as they want, they’re still getting raw dawged in The Dome

ESPN? This game won’t be on ESPN or any major network.

It has already been announced it will be on sec network.

The SEC/ESPN contract makes it to where all games are on some sort of network.

Yep Scotty letting this slide after one of our basketball players was murdered on their campus at an event is insane.

I disagree. I think it’s pretty cool actually. The game itself will obviously be lopsided but Southern’s band is awesome. It’s going to be cool to see them play at halftime.

Plus the players will get a once in a lifetime opportunity to play on Tiger Stadium. They’re going to remember it forever. I’m not a big fan of FCS OOC games in general, but in reality we are playing these and if that’s the case then we should play instate teams. I get the $ behind it but it’s cool to make it happen once and then.

The HBCU fans love their football just like SEC fans. The CFB world wants to normalize HBCU’s and get them some attention, this will help Southern’s recruiting too.
