Ok I was wrong, but I remember an opening game when Nick Saban was the HC at LSU, and the team we played slid in a warm-up game the week before. It just stands out because a lot of LSU fans were pissed off about it just like now.

Edit, It was Va Tech...oops

If LSU loses to Florida State it won’t be because they played a game the week before. It will also mean that we have bigger problems than we thought. Just like losing to UCLA last year.

Did Florida State move a game up that was scheduled with Dusquene or did Florida State add Dusquene as an extra game and put it in front of the LSU game?

If Florida State only added the game then that isn't the same as proposing LSU to move an already scheduled game.

No, Florida St had Duquesne on their schedule for 8/27 since their 2022 schedule was originally released. They only have Duquesne on week 0 this year bc absolutely no one will watch that game during the regular season - hell, no one will watch it anyways. Their starters will play 4 series & they will win 62-0.

FYI they do not have an opponent scheduled before LSU game next year on 9/3/23 & will not add a 5th OOC opponent.

AGAIN, there’s a Hawaii rule that if you play Hawaii or your opponent does you can have an extra game and play in week 0

Byu played Hawaii
Ucla played Hawaii
Duquesne who plays Florida state will play Hawaii

How are y’all so ignorant ??????

No he didn’t. He didn’t have a single thing to do with that Natty, he didn’t even have his headset turned on or his mic down 95% of the time. Thank Joe Burrow, our skill players, Dave Aranda, Joe Brady, and the other assistants for that one

False. There are other teams who play in week 0. It doesn’t have to only involve Hawaii. Hell, the big10 starts conference play in week 0 with some teams. Personally, I think it’s cool. If we had Vandy or Mizzou I wouldn’t be against it. Definitely not down to play any west team or big6 East team in week 0.

Text Woody and tell him to make it happen.

It really should be b/c I firmly believe the result of the FSU game is going to determine our trajectory.

We could have a dual pep rally LSU vs Southern and have Southern's Great Band vs The Golden Band from Tigerland.

Call it a Unity party brining the different masses together.

Call it Week Zero Kick off Fest

Yes, he did. Sorry that hurts you, but he put that staff together, and recruited some of the players, especially Joe Burrow. You don't have to like him, but to deny him any credit is simply stupid.

If it makes it more likely to be cancelled from a hurricane, that would be a good thing.

The cold hard truth is that Southern is just a big risk of injury for a meaningless win. Any opportunity LSU has to get out of the game, they should take

There is currently no SEC team on SEC Network week 0

They would be trading an SECN game For an SECN game and could bump Ole Miss to SEC Network from SECN+ week 2

That's only part of it & yes that is the reason behind why it's happened to LSU opening opponent the last 3 times.

The other half is this part, which was included in your link. Why did Florida-Miami play in 2019?

No, Brady, Joe, and Aranda were the reason. Throw in stud WR’s while we are at it

The Ensminger disrespect lives on!

People love to leave our Ensminger as if he didn’t have a big role in our offense 2018-2019.

The LSU vs Southern football game should move to "never". I have no desire to see LSU play a SWAC team. The talent level difference is ridiculous
