To answer the OP no. O isn't going to quit and he isn't going to blame himself. People in high profile jobs just don't quit, doesn't matter how bad they are.
Canada needs to step his game up. The offense has been really pathetic. Does anyone know if Canada is a good recruiter?
Aranda has depth problems. He's had as much recruiting time as O. I have faith they will get the D fixed.

Amazing how no one talked about the defense’s issues with youth and depth after the BYU game.

Well the entire team has sputtered through it's first 5 games, start at the top.

Not youth. Injuries and suspensions hoss.

if at some point in the O regime things are going south to the point that his job is in jeopardy(like back to back 6-6 seasons), he'll probably have to ax a coordinator and make some changes to get a 3rd or 4th year(depending on where they are at that point
Things have gone as far south as you could possibly get 5 games into the season. LSU had it's worst loss to MSU ever in its history of playing the bulldogs (100+ years) and that is a team we've beat 19 out of 20 coming into the season. Although that was horrible, it doesn't even compare to the loss against Troy. It was the first non conference loss in 17 years. Orgeron has taken LSU back to 1999 under Gerry DiNardo in 5 games.

At that point you promote Aranda to HC

He got 3 years at ole miss.
Which is why he has at most 2 to get it right here (actually his buyout is)

he's going to have time to figure out how to get this thing right with hs players, his recruiting classes, his people, etc
He has had time. This is not normal growing pains this is a clusterfricks.

Our only hope is if he sends the binder around the SEC to a couple of real coaches and hope they contribute some solutions.
