We have a guy in place right now that has.

How’s that working out for us?

It’s a business at the end of the day and Lipsey would do what it took to make sure the business grew.

That’s very fair.

I would like to see him spearhead the search for the next president. I just want the best for LSU and Louisiana and truly believe that Mr. Lipsey does as well.

With you 100%.

A man that accomplished deciding to make this his legacy is exactly what was and is needed at LSU.

I fully trust that he’ll continue until he is satisfied. LSU is in a much better place now than two months ago. Hopefully we’ll be able to say the same thing two months from now.

If y’all want to oust FKing over meddling in and bungling athletics while the academic side of LSU has declined, then by all means. But please replace King with a top notch administrator who can restore academics and the overall educational mission of LSU. Just like we were a sleeping giant in athletics, there is a ton of untapped potential in agriculture, oceanography, southern literature, chemistry, engineering, and law (off the top of my head) where LSU faculty have some unique advantages and interests that overlap with the needs of the people of LA. For sure replace King, but then invest in the future of LSU more broadly than just sports.

Really man?

You and I have went back and forth on this website for years. We have disagreed on almost everything unanimously, but I’ve always had some respect for you. You at least had your reasoning and logic.

Now your just gonna playing the goofy arse race game?

Be better man. Pathetic.

It leads me to believe King went off on his own the day he suspended WW . Without Board approval which is certainly within his purview. Just not smart and politically savvy. . It also would confirm as to why King went on a disinformation campaign with the BOS. It has cost him , and dearly

You think that James Williams as an attorney wouldn’t have been involved in the decision? You don’t know how this works.

The board was involved in the suspension decision just like King Alexander was involved in the Alleva one.

/Don’t know how this works /

Actually I am pretty astute as to how this works .

The email thread suggests he alerted the BOS of the new developments , the new tapes conversation. So we know he checked in and made them aware.

But I know Williams went around king to talk to Woodward. Don’t ask me how I know. But I do know. Leads me to believe Mr Williams didn’t trust him. Purely speculating on this cause this I don’t know but it’s one of two things.. king suspended wade prior to discussing or the fact that when the board was made aware of the misinformation from king he realized what he was dealing with. Doesn’t make sense to me that King started misinformation campaign unless he has already screwed up something. If the BOS was behind him. No reason to pile on.

That’s why I think he made a decision to suspend without final discussion with Williams. But it is pure speculation and you could as easily be correct.

Either way the point of my post was Mr Williams must get all the credit here. True leadership.

He is better where he is at I think, we need a super star college president that Lipsey can line up support for.
