Lee won't start because good half and bad half are both better than a half where you just threw a pick 6.

Well dont take this the wrong way but i think the writer who wrote this is full of crap. JJ is our man from M.Scarbrough and that JJ is the starter RS will run the wild tiger sparingly and JL will not see the field barring inury. JJ is taking all the 1st team snaps.

Very interesting considering that the same was true of JJ last year until JL got injured.

When the "older guy" is a true sophmore with 73 attempts and a 49% completion rate shouldn't we worry about his development before we see if Chris Garrett is gonna be great for next year's scout team?

only if your sold on him as starter and don't believe there is anyway possible that RS or Chris could be better

Didn't he give JJ reps last season? I remember there was the same argument last season when Les was giving praise for true freshman,JJ. Maybe he sees the same potential in the two freshmen quarterbacks and he is trying to pick the number two or number three QB.

I understand what you're saying. But, you can't have it both ways on QB reps. I think Miles doesn't want to get caught in another situation where the guy he bet on is struggling mightily, but he doesn't feel like the #2 or #3 guy knows the playbook. So, he sticks with him and sticks with him... while he tries to get the season's #2 (pre-season #4) up to speed during the season. That's a big distraction when preparing for teams in the SEC.

Let's face it, the adversity with R.P. and A.H.'s injury last year caught us with our pants down. We don't want that to ever happen again!

No. at thi point hey should all be getting reps. then a decision made if one or both of the freshman are going to red shirt. And then the competition for #1 should play itself out between spring practice and fall practice. If JJ or JL steps up and gets a grip on the #1 spot, then the reps should be reduced for the others.

Exactly, this years situation is totally different........Regardless of what game experience JL or JJ have they also have another year of practice under their belts.......

So getting the chance to develop young talent in the spring is becoming a priority.........Isn't that what spring practice is about???

Now if the same shite is happening in August.......then you may have a point.
