You’re going to pay. I’d rather that money go towards football and baseball. Notice the teams that have good basketball programs lack in either baseball or football. For Auburn it is both. A good coach with quality players is going to cost ya!

I hope they lose every game in every sport, but they easily prove your statement incorrect.

They made the playoffs, won NC in baseball and are top 10 basketball.

There is no reason LSU can’t be competitive in basketball along with the football and baseball programs. And has been said many times on here, MBB has huge money making potential. Baseball is capped out in that regard.

I was ready to have an actual discussion, and opened the thread to read this bullshite. I'm more disappointed in you than I am Matt McMahon.

Realisticly here is a short list that could turn around LSU MBB instantly the 1st year and have them in the tournament the 1st year! Pinto from New Mexico he is a hidden gem,Billy Donavan from Chicago Bulls you know he wants to come back to college basketball, and he could do at LSU in basketball what Saban did in football when he left Miami for Alabama,Bennett at ST Mary's he is always at the top of his league with Few and Gonzaga,Buzz Williams Texas A&M I know his teams probably don't achieve what they could however he is always at the top half of SEC. And A&M is always in the tournament, possibly kick the tires on Drew at Baylor I mean if he says no not a problem there are other good coaches out there. I know it's probably a pipe dream but it would be worth it to see if you could bring back Will wade, I would also look at Colhoon from Utah St,another coach who has his team at the top of there league every year and they make the tournament every year. Anyone of those coaches would turn around LSU in the 1st year and have them in the tournament there 1st year!

All of those sound good to me. Honestly, I don't even care about the first year, just build it to get in the tourney every year. I want the expectation for LSU basketball to be sweet 16 every year.

As long as the new HC has a personality like Dale or WW he would be
allright.LSU needs a salesman.
