I am not a huge fan of this video. It is a little presumptive to me for a guy who isn't even a returning starter. I would rather see Les and LSU put out a video on the team, not just focus on one player. I think it is a slippery slope when you start feeding kids heads that they are more important than the group as a whole.

For one...it's not Les doing it. Also, they have been doing different players and team videos as well. They have all been posted here.

NOOOOOOO! I wanted to use that voice over for a video on Jefferson
Oh well, they beat me to it.

It is naive to think that Les doesn't have any say over who the LSU media dept has access to. I don't have a real problem with the video, but you cannot say Les has no control over it. He has control over everything (or at least he should). He is not a micro-manager, as was our previous ruler was.

LSU needs to stop trying to put out "we're bad, arse, going to kick the shite out of you" videos, and start worrying winning!

I will agree that the PMAC--when full and rocking--can be a special place. But nothing beats an enthusiastic crowd in Tiger Stadium.

I don't have a problem with the focus being put on Shepard.
I just wish I could believe what the video implies...that Russell Shepard is a dangerous weapon who will be used alot.

I am as excited about Shep's POTENTIAL as anybody, but making a video when you only really have a few highlight worthy plays in an entire season (50 touches) is a reach. My expectation and hope is that we have many more to enjoy in 2010.
