True, it is absolutely impossible he could have stood there and been filmed at a time he wouldn't have been practicing anyway. I'm embarrassed as an LSU fan we opened the doors to the football facility and let him out at all. fricking slacker.

I saw him running in practice shorts on the video. I'm pretty sure that was practicing. And the game video didn't take him away from anything.

I don't disagree with that. But I'm saying LSU has more to worry about. It's not like they won the National Championship last year.

If there was even the remotest chance that the team had decided to make videos instead of preparing and practicing, then I might think your point had validity. But really, do you think that the team ought to be completely silent in any year that follows a non-BCS championship year?
These guys aren't monks. There will be down years. In those years, in order to continue to attract a high level of talent, we're going to have to promote our players consistent with prevailing trends.

they did not use old videos. they had him recreate the clips from game films. with multiple takes to make sure he got the movements exactly right for authenticity purposes of course. that takes a considerable amount of time.
