These two guys should be on the field together at least 70% of the snaps. Jefferson is at least 6'4 and shep has all the moves. The option to run and/or pass is always there. They could:
1) run the option
2) throw out of the option
3) Jefferson hand the ball off to shep
4) pitch to shep
5) pass to shep at wr
6) shep could pass to Jefferson in wildcat
7) reverse (w the option to pass)
8) flea flicker

the point is there are so many "trick plays" that can become a common play w those two guys on the field. Plus there are so many regular common plays they could maximize the plays potential.
This is a chance to have 2 true dual qb's on the field at the same time and give lsu the most versitile offense in the nation.
We could run so many different plays out of 1 formation that no defense could really know what to expect from us therefore making them play "react" defense which gives us an extra step in each play.

The problem is we'll never seen any of those plays. For whatever reason they are moving Shep along at a snails pace.

Without a decent OL you are not going to be doing a whole hell of a lot.

I agree! Shep has been enrolled at LSU since January and was able to attend spring practice. It's time to stop playing conventional football and start playing creative football!

Haha...I think there may have been a delay of game call on that play, but I can't recall.

This is what i've wanted and posted about. This combination could win us a national championship.. So many options to confuse the defense. Even if they were aware they still have to try and tackle shepard!!!
