Who would you guys take? I am thinking Jordan because Kongo has been pretty bad for a while now. Jordan needs to put him on his back though. To risky to stand up for 3 rounds.

The UFC/Strikeforce have some of the most detailed testing of any professional sports on earth. They have no problem suspending stars in the sport to keep the reputation as clean as possible. Whatever Shawn did 8-10 years is ion the past but that's not the present and he's got a bright future in the sport.
I'd love to see your arrest record or just what you did in the privacy of your own home and didn't get caught doing.

No I haven't. But I'm not going to admire a guy that is worshiped for crow hopping dudes from the blind side because somebody may or may not have looked at somebody they knew in a bar. But then again, I'm not much of a UFC fan so probably not the right thread for me.

Ever been a bar fight?? They really don't have rules.
I don't admire him for fighting in a bar, matter of fact I've never seen him in a bar fight in the years that i've known him but I do admire a person who realizes a dream and fights like hell to achieve it.
If your dream was to be the best engineer in the world and you put in 23 hours a day to achieve it, people would probably admire you too.

He dated my neighbor from Slidell for a year or two at LSU (she was a cheerleader) got to hang out with him a bunch. One of the nicest guys I know. His g/f dad at the time wanted to move a boat engine when they were at her house in Slidell one day. Her dad came and got me and my dad to help out. We walk back next door to move it and Shawn had already picked up the 300 pound engine and moved it by himself, I was in shock haha.

This should be an interesting fight. Best chance for Jordan to win is just like his trainer said, get inside. Negate his reach, pummel him, gain leverage. But getting to the inside of Congo is the hard part. Definitely don't go for the single leg on him, bull rush to the cage then leverage him to the ground. All easier said than done.
I think Congo will win, but I am pulling for Jordan.

Are you a moron or something, do you even follow the sport or what goes on in it?
Sonnen, Bonnar, Thiago Silva, Sean Sherk, Chris Lebon, Gracie, Cyborg Santos, King Mo, Overeem, etc...
most of these guys either held or fought for belts at the highest level and all were suspended for steroids at some point.. You're tested randomly leading up to the fight and then tested before the fight and after the fight.

I was there that night...of course I've been around for more than one of he and his brothers bar fights. Shawn's a good dude, his brother is the fight starter. My buddy lived downstairs from him and used to feed his dogs while he was out of town...biggest fricking things I've ever seen in my life.

Sounds like an a-hole. I have a friend who has did MÑA for years, he always tried to get out of fights. He knows he will win, so why be a dick.
Some lsu linemwn jumped him years back, before the guy knew it he was on top of him. Camt remember the lsu guy. Not a big name. White dude. Being a super prick at a bar.

Was just coming to post this. Remember watching and he was running over dudes, jumping over them, and just looked flat out amazingly athletic for a guy weighing 230. He was also a multiple state champ in wrestling as well I believe. El Paso has very good HS wrestling.

This was a few years ago, and I can't remember the exact details, but the dude had it coming. He put hands on her at some point...he was trying to dance with her and she wouldn't have it and he wouldn't leave her alone and started yelling and cursing at her. He should have just walked away the first 15 times she told him to.
