Oh so now people get to decide who is or isn’t a “good fan”. Got it LOL

Let me make it clear. If you sell your season tickets on the secondary market, you're not a good fan. It's really simple.

Put your tickets on stub hub = You're a piece of shite fan.

The entire East Upper was nothing but Tenn fans, the West Upper was about 50%, they had almost the entire section around sections 415-420 with about 60-70% UT fans, and the East side had a ton of them as well. That's WAY more than 20% Tenn fans. I would say they may have surpassed the 30% mark.

I'm honestly kind of impressed with the amount of people they brought.

I think UGA brought more fans in 2018, but they weren't as noticeable because we beat their arse and their fans didn't have much to cheer about. Today was the polar opposite.

I’ll be able to sleep so much better tonight knowing you are in charge of the Morality Police!

Again, none of your freaking business what people do with their own tickets. Or their money. Or their time. Or anything else that has nothing to do with you. Get off your high horse.

Bingo. Georgia filled our West Uppers too.
And A&M absolutely brought it when they came here with Manziel in 2013.

And Florida routinely brings as many fans to Baton Rouge as Tennessee did today. They want to be special but it's really not.

Tennessee hasn't been relevant in over 20 years, and we were the team that started their decline. I can't imagine what that must've been like for their fan base.

I try to look at their possible resurgence as a good thing, because a strong Tennessee and a strong UGA only serves to help weaken Bama, which is good for the entire SEC.

Just giving real world observations. $4000 for a family of 4 for just tickets in an end zone, probably double that on the sides or more, plus parking and any food is easily $5K to $6k total at a minimum. It absolutely is pricing out folks who now have to decide whether to take family vacation, pay tuition so their kids can be safe at school etc….. I’ve been going to LSU games for 40 years, the fan base has greatly changed.

Don’t put the ticket on the damn market anyways. The #8 team was in town for fricks sake.

$6,000? $3400 for tickets for 4 and the section I am talking about is the highest in the south end zone, so there are plenty of end zone tickets less expensive than that.

Paid parking isn't a necessity, but it can be had for $400 for the season.

So that puts us at $3,800. That leaves $2200 of that $6,000 for food (and food cost for a meal at game time isn't going to be $0 if you want to factor that in) over 7 games leaves over $300 per game for food.

Again, not cheap, but not ridiculously expensive for most folks.

Price is one thing, but there are plenty of other issues that LSU needs to clean up to improve the experience that are at least as important as ticket prices that have run people off over the years.

The upper south end zone was half orange

Exactly right. Priced out many great fans. The family of 4 that sat behind me for 20 years gave theirs up due to cost. They never missed a game and stayed the entire game. Greed of LSU is killing it. If its a big dollar business, that’s what you get.

I mean. In the big picture, those four people really don’t make a difference.

[quote]We were surrounded by Tennessee fans in the EU, pretty much outnumbered. They were loud and pretty damned happy.[/quote

They were definitely tickled and the east deck was orange, but it wasn't a takeover.

From the lower levels they weren't that loud until all the LSU fans left in the 3rd. Hung around till the end...they were quite excited about a bigbass win in BR but really want to beat Bama for the first time in what's gotta be a million years

FU to all that sold their EU tickets. Was like a Tennessee inbred family reunion up there.

Math is off, but agree to disagree. LSU pricing/priced out many great fans. Period.
It was the arms race of college football. And this is what we get. People who leave at halftime or earlier.
