He fricking caved man. He could have gone after someone else. There was no reason to stand on the podium 10 minutes after that game and make an announcement. He should have just kept quite and kept looking. The program is stale and Les needs to go. This program will never "reemerge" as one poster put with Miles at the helm, new OC or not.

I mean I thought everyone was celebrating Miles after the game because it was his last game. I am sure the majority were surprised that Alleva backed down and we were chanting the name of our coach next season instead of givig him a farewell.

All of the fawning, and praising, and carrying-on was too much for me.
People talk about how he's so "good" and "great" and on and on. I mean, he displays kindness and does nice things for people, but almost all coaches do similar things. Displaying kindness is not some rare quality exclusive to Les Miles. I know lots of kind people.
