Sha’Carri Richardson suspended one month for marijuana use

She will not be allowed to run in the 100 meter but does have a shot at running in the relay since that will be after her suspension. People will be pissed but she knew the rules and decided not to follow them. If I decided to smoke a little pot and got drug tested tomorrow I’d be out of a job. Follow the rules and you don’t put yourself in this situation it’s that simple.

Well, there are rules and then their are rulings. If you got a DWI and the judge took it a little easier on you than he/she could have, you wouldn’t mind.

I misread this. The way I read it initially was that you were upset that she WOULD be able to run the relays.
I certainly don’t think it was a smart thing to do, and she has to play by the rules and take the consequences.

You sound mad. She's accepted the suspension graciously and admitted fault. So you just sound vindictive now. And she probably won't "loose millions." She'll probably get a ton of sponsorships when she wins gold or silver in the relay. And you'll still be mad on TD, posting from one of the worst cities in the country.

The Olympic Committee suspends someone for smoking pot - which by any stretch of the imagination is NOT performance-enhancing - but has no problem letting a man compete as a woman.

I ain’t mad. And the statement she made didn’t sound to gracious to me. You got a job with a drug policy? What is it,I bet if you test positive there will be consequences but it’s fricked to to have that policy huh I ran track I college. They had no testing then. But I knew how beer drugs alcohol could Agee the my performance
