Seriously, How did Joe Alleva get the AD job at LSU?

Especially coming off the Duke lacrosse debacle. Did he lie on in resume or totally fool his interviewers. Makes no sense.

I’m fairly positive Alleva’s ignominious past was well known at the time of his hire.
His actions at Duke is all you need to know to gauge his response when facing adversity. Pitiful hire.

I have to be honest I can't believe we hired HIM...I remember the Duke Scandal and at the time I thought man the AD is over his head...Then we hire the guy...Did we have are head in the sand...Just look at his body of work with LSU...Any other business he would have been gone a long time ago...As a LSU Grad I have been embarrassed on a number of fronts with this whole situation, with the football fiasco, I don't want to read this crap, it makes the University look dumb and we have very smart current students, former students, professors etc. ...Right now my attention is on the players and Coaches in the NCAA...
