I too wanna see us run the ball down someones throat again. We'll see if the Oline can bounce back after Saturday night. I have a feeling we go on a tear after this past weekend.

Keiland is too tentative running the ball with any sort of traffic. Period.
Watch 90% of his runs this year, or his kick returns. He is freezing up and slowing down as the defense closes in. And he has below average balance when hit. No way is he a better runner than CS. Not right now. This is just my honest assessment based on his play this year.
Don't read this wrong, Keiland is a Tiger and I will continue to pull for him as hard as I can. I'm still counting on the coaches to help him find his "groove," hopefully sooner rather than later...
ETA: why would Miles release him to an SEC school. If Keiland loses a year he's done, right?

If keiland transferred to bama... Holy shite.. Don't even want to think about it.

I thought if they transfer he would have to got to a 1-aa school or sit out a year. Isn't it his senior year?

Yea, I dont understand it. You dont get scared and lose confidence like this for no reason.

Yea, he would have had to sit out.
eta: and Coach Miles would have never released him to go to Bama.

Are you serious. The guy when he finds a hole will lower his shoulder on you. I still believe in the KW and his calves and I think it is time for a change of pace and put him in more.

i just think he is good at kick returns and sometimes out the backfield, cs and rm need the ball more than kw does

I'd actually like to see RM get some chances at kick returns......he runs in traffic better than KW and has better balance (right now anyway).

as for transferring, keiland is much more likely to just go pro and not transfer

If he is considering another SEC school he will lose a year and thus will have to go pro....IMHO

Something just honestly tells me he's very upset he's not the feature back this year and just isn't playing as hard. Could be wrong, but he just doesn't have that sense of urgency he has had before running the ball this year like in times past.

He's def not the same runner. The comparison to Vincent is legit in their effectiveness however Vincent got there because of his work ethic and physical deterioration and i know for fact that KW takes care of himself. I dont know if he's soft or has no confidence but he's def not the same

Here's my take on KW and I could be very wrong, but here goes:
In 2006, he was our best back for the 2nd half. After trying to figure out why and how he was able to do what he did in his first year, I think it's because of:
1) Jimbo Fisher was the OC. Fisher and Crowton are night and day. Fisher's system was much more FB/TB oriented...less TE...more 3 WR sets. Fisher liked to use 2-3 RB's and used the passing game to set up the run game. Crowton, IMHO, does the opposite it seems and sometimes, there just is no pattern. For whatever reason, KW just doesn't fit well with that philosophy.
2) KW got a lot of totes when we spread the field. When you're a defense and you see Bowe, Davis, and Doucet lined all along the field, you have to respect that...double the respect with J Russell under center and in the shotgun. KW was able to effectively run on the outsides and in the Arkansas and Tennessee games, he was a beast. Insert Flynn and lose two of the three wideouts in '07, and all of a sudden, defenses get a little tighter on us. I suppose we needed a major power back to combat this. I guess KW isn't tha type.
^this is strictly a guess...I really don't know why. Scott's our guy, but man...I would love to see KW hit the field a lot more. He's explosive. I don't understand Miles and Crowton some times.

our system is definitely different
and we're not running to the outside much or using creativity in the run game
