Why don't you provide a link then, since apparently you're the only one who remembers this?

I already did ... but if you want to see it again:
LINK

This coming from a senior leader. Players know how hard it will be to beat Bama again.

They did not seem too excited... Lets go back to the 2007 that was excitement...

They knew they were in. It's just another day at the office making Gumps cry.

that was a post-game comment coming off the field, certainly not a statement from players a few days ago stating they wanted no part of bama

1 - they already had gotten the news
2 - I don't think they were hearing the audio, only Les was in an earpiece

That was Nov 5. They are not fired up to play them now? Go post your disgust at Les disrespecting JL by putting him in for the victory formation. Delusional negatiger. But I take back my retard comment.

Who said anything about comments within the last few days? It was a comment from an LSU player saying they would not want to have to play Bama again. Timing is irrelevant.

Timing is very relevant...many times after an exhausting event athletes use the "I wouldn't want to do that again" as an expression of how tough it was. Didn't Lance Armstrong say he wouldn't run the Tour de France again several times?

This isn't like 2003 or 2007 where LSU didn't know if they were in or not.

This team knew they were in the game already so it's not as big a deal to them.

I agree, timing is definitely relevant. In this case, it's a player in a post game interview showing respect to the other team after a hard fought matchup. It's not significant 4 weeks later and in no way reflects how the players feel now.

Exactly ... the bruises were still there from a very physical game. The comment was very relevant.

Pretty sure they'll be fired up to play whoever lines up across from them on Jan. 9. For the camera ... meh.

Go ahead and link a single post from me complaining about JL in the victory formation. I backed-up what I posted ... your turn.

Wrong again ... I just don't see everything through purple and gold glasses. But hey, whatever gets you through the night.

we beat them.... with JJ having thrown like 5 passes all year/practiced with the first team probably 25% of 2 weeks, etc.

And he has played so well since throwing and practicing more
