Joe Sloan was absolutely the worst. I don't want to see him ever again in the OC chair in Tiger Stadium.

He definitely mistimed jumps, but its hard to judge him too harshly when he's blowing past DB's and has to slow down to make the catch. NFL QB's are hitting him in stride, so mistiming jumps shouldn't be an issue.

And looking back now I’m so glad BK didn’t demote Sloan back to QB coach or else we would most likely still be stuck with BKs sorry arse for a head coach and Lane Kiffin would either still be at Ole Miss or Florida this year.

Makes it an even bigger indictment on BK for entrusting JOE SLOAN to maximize all the talented pass catches we had. After Bryce underwood flipped Joe Sloan should’ve been demoted back to qb coach or fired.
Baffling staff hires , lazy recruiting, not having a run game and not having the team prepared for big time matchups will be the things that defined the Brian Kelly era .
The offense was straight trash. It's like people forget what Kyren Lacy and Aaron Anderson looked like in 2024 under a decent offensive scheme.

I saw a lot of laziness and lack of urgency from the entire offense last year. The blame for that is spread equally between Kelly, the offensive coaching staff, Nuss, and the other players.

I’m ready to move on from last year…… whenever I was asked what I thought about last seasons offense I just concluded that everyone seems confused all the time. When you aren’t sure of what you’re doing you don’t go full speed.
