Incredibly disappoint half. LSU is up 4 but Burrell (the one great scorer for Auburn) has barely played. LSU had many chances to stretch their lead. Bad turnovers, poor FT shooting, and poor defense has really hampered them. Auburn is getting and missing some wide open shots. That half is exactly why LSU has a string of bad losses this year.

I'm glad its halftime, so I don't have to watch that garbage for another 15 minutes.

I am now convinced The Lack of Senior Leadership is this teams problem*.

You don't have to have "senior" leadership, you just have to have guys that care about winning at LSU.

It would also help to make a few free throws. 9-18 at the free throw line.

Bad Gray + Bad Patterson + Bad Quartermann? Because Gray playing for 5 minutes or so isn't why we're doing poorly.

They have no jump shooters on the floor and we are running man to man. Jesus run a zone when Harrell isn't on the floor.

Same old disappointing team against a nobody as usual. Time to step up in the 2nd half, this is to secure a tournament spot 100%. Just friggin do it.

They tried that, but Patterson couldn't be bothered to touch guys going to the rim and Martin couldn't be bothered to challenge a shot.

that was not Jones best coaching half ever. we lacked focus going 9/18 from the line, not being in the zone when they had no threat to score on the floor, allowing 2 five minute droughts

same thing happened in the last game vs Auburn bad first half we turn it up and blow them out in the second.

MArtin and Mickey will both be on the floor, feed it to them and we should be fine. They have no answer for our bigs down low.

I mean it's same issues all year

-team sleepwalks against inferior opponent
-lazy passes
-bad defensive effort
-allow offensive rebounds
-bad shots
-missed free throws

At some point it's not just on the players. There has to be some kind of culture problem that players think it's ok to take these games off. (sans Hornsny)

yep most of that list is a culture problem when it happens over and over. Its a sign that the coach isn't a stickler for the little things.

There's a reason why I didn't join the "we're gonna blow auburn out!" tardfest. It's like some of our fans forgot how we play against shitty arse teams

He is Darcy with leaping ability, so still pretty limited.

Auburn has also won two games in two days. While fatigue is a factor, they're ready to go. Hornsby is there but the rest of the team has not shown up yet.

I'm not sure what is more frustrating. Watching this team give this shite effort or watching Jones allowing it to happen and doing nothing about it.
