yeah, and that costs us at the backend of the lineup. Ross is needed behind the plate, I can see that as a good decision by PM. I just think we are a better lineup with JJ in the 7 spot, and Laird in the 8 hole with Foster in the 2 spot. Ross at 9

That just had to do with the pitching staff you were up against. You have a good hitting club so I wouldn't worry about that.

Just to add to the conversation, yes he's been beaten, but not in a while. He started slow this year, but his ERA in SEC play is somewhere around 0.79.
