Just picked you to reply to all posts.
See my previous post on hosts. I just can't imagine Clemson, UNC, NCSt, and SCar all hosting in that area leaving 12 more spots for the rest of the country.
Who will you guys be pitching today? Best case for us of course, is LSU winning but using some bullpen.

Eades today, possibly McCune tomorrow

Not familiar with McCune. What's his story?

Well we are throwing Eades, so he is either going to give us 7 good innings, or he will get chased in the 4th.

We haven't been sitting like this in the tourney since 2007. I'm not sure what to think. We usually go 0-2 to 2-2 and get ready for regionals.
Our pitching is set up to win this thing now though, but I don't want it to cost is arms next weekend either.

As a freshman, he worked his way into the Friday role. Actually fared better with fellow-freshman Gausman that season.
Injuries have killed his career.

That sucks. We lost Cade Lynch this year and his stuff is just nasty, but his career is over because of migraines.

solid weekend starter as a freshman in 2011 won around 7 games, got pushed out of the way last season by the rotation of Gausman, Nola, Eades.
Hurt himself early this season, got healthy and has been trying to make a comeback but has struggled with consistency. However, in his last start against ole miss he looked decent
so we shall see

Which is why I would not be totally against losing today.
It's also why Mainieri pulled Nola in the 7th and pitched McCune and LaMarche in the 9th down only a run. Not saying we would have won if we pitched our best guys, but Mainieri basically waved the white flag with those two.

I remember a couple of months ago suggesting he always pitch from the stretch, and getting blasted

The good thing for us is everyone will get an extra days rest, as far as our 3 weekend guys are concerned. We will not see them again anyway once Fant goes tomorrow.
Will be a good opportunity to get some young guys some innings if we do make it to Sunday though.
