field corner- ja’keem Jackson

Boundary Corner- Dj Pickett

Nickel- Pj woodland/Ashton stamps ( can easily see Aidan Anding stealing the nickel cb spot by midseason he’s that talented )

Strong safety-Mansoor Delane( he can easily end up starting at one of the corner sports )

Free Safety- Tamarcus Cooley.

If we land this alleged 2nd safety (Derek Williams Jr?), Delane will 100% play corner, but it's nice having guys like Delane that are able to move around in the secondary

Oh yea fasho this whole list changes if a 2nd impact safety is added. Having a guy like mansoor is such a luxury he’s versatile enough to play any db spot

no one has said it, but there are rumblings about another portal safety, and the rumblings about those rumblings are that it's derek williams jr. obviously I'll take all that with a grain of salt, but the ppl saying these things aren't typically the ppl that would put their foot in their mouth about something like this.

I know its easy to get excited about new faces and automatically plug them in as starters... but what makes you think Ja'Keem Jackson will be a starter? He didnt have any production at UF.

Corey Raymond is high on him . I trust his judgment when it comes to CB play

Cooley is not a FS. He was a very good star/nickel last year that will play near the LOS.

Idk, he was very highly graded at both run and pass. Seems like he's got a lot of versatility especially for such a young guy. You never know until you get em on the field but this seems like a definite Homerun by the staff.

one more very talented proven safety would free our db's to play their strongest position, and have a very good substitute option, in case of injuries, or just freshness on the field.
I feel very strongly we need that new experienced safety. The only caveat is that HP moving to strong safety, which I strongly would like to see, would really give our lineup lots of options, and imo make HP an AA.
Just one more opinion.

For 1 one can’t cover a damn shadow I don’t care what PFF says and then u put him out in space hell no. That being said the 3 CBs Which includes DJ will start.

I agree with you that stamps isn’t a sec caliber boundary corner. I just think he is one of your more experienced db’s relative to the rest of the room that the staff will put him out here in some capacity. Nickel may be a better fit for him where he doesn’t have to turn and try to keep up with guys like Tre Harris on the boundary

Delane would probably be more of the free safety if they move him from outside corner.

Cooley is more of a nickel safety from what he played at NC state.
