So maybe a dumb question but I have an ESPN+ account and YouTubeTV account for my regular streaming service. However any event being shown on an SECN+ channel I cannot view. Any ideas why?

Same here. Saying user not authenticated. It seems to only be involving the SECN+ games and not the ESPN + games via the ESPN App

I can watch LSU Softball’s game along with U LA LA’s game vs UC Irvine. Both on ESPN + via the ESPN app

I have the SEC N with my You tube TV subscription

I even tried logging back on my smart TV App

Here's how it works.

All regular OOC home games, and all SEC games (including road games) are televised on ESPN/SECN/SECN+.

All road OOC games will have to be picked up somewhere else (usually ESPN+). This year those are at La Tech, at UNO, and the series in Houston.

***The Pontiff Classic is at LSU (vs ULL). I'm not certain how this will be handled. It may or may not be picked up like a regular OOC home game.

***FOR GAMES ON SEC+***

You DO NOT need to pay for ESPN+ to get this, however you won't be able to find the games on a local cable TV station. You will need the ESPN app, and your cable log in (assuming you have the SECN channel on your cable package). From there, you can watch games on SECN+.

***For ESPN+***

You need to pay the ESPN+ subscription. (Having a paid ESPN+ subscription DOES NOT give you access to SECN+)

***Series in Houston***

Will probably be televised, but not sure where yet. I remember previous years the games were on some sort of fox network, but to my knowledge it hasn't been announced yet

I just had the same problem. Log out of your tv provider…then log back in. Through ESPN.com/activate

Make sure you are still logged in with your YouTube account on the espn app. It logs you out sometimes after updates

Why is the ESPN app such hot garbage on a phone? For as much as these assholes charge for their service, this app should be cutting edge.

If YouTube TV allows you to catch SECN, then sign into your ESPN app using your YouTube TV login.

If YTTV doesn't have SECN, then you can't catch SECN+. For about the 10th time, of what will be about 5,000 this season, ESPN+ doesn't have anything to do with SECN+.

If you are logged into YTTV account on ESPN app, try deleting the app and reinstalling. It should then work.

Tangential topic… I’m watching on my damn phone because every time I try to hit airplay, it won’t work.

Yet I can still airplay anything else… golf, LSU softball, and Baylor baseball. But LSU baseball is a hell no from my phone and tv, smh

it’s fixed. I just logged out and logged back in with my You Tube TV and espn+ subscription through the smart tv app. Must be a cache/cookie issue. Had the same issue last year. Thanks y’all!

I have all the same apps as you

I had to log in and get back in and out of the espn app a few times before it worked. It was telling me I was not authorized to view this content at first.

Working now.

Yeah good luck with that.
