We're still in the time-consuming events.
The sprints will be going on throughout the evening.

Damn Gators win the Men's 4x100 relay.
Tigers get second though.
Only 6.5 point behind the leader Arkansas in team points after 12 events.

That's a HUGE blow to the Lady Tigers. They're going to make a huge run, but that's gonna be quite a blow to the ladies. Add that to Thomas's injury, the ladies' three-peat seems unlikely. They are, however, very young.

The men are doing very well.
Its going to be close between Arkansas and LSU.
Tigers gonna have to get it done in the sprints and relays because Arkansas is probably going to dominate the distance races.

They men still have a chance...the women while still in it...have a tall order ahead of them
Posted on 5/17/09 at 4:35 pm to NorthEndZone
Trindon needs to come up with the win, which im sure he will, as well as good finish in the 4x400. Gabriel Mvumvure needs to pull off the upset in the 200 and Armanti Hayes has the best time in the 400 so far so some big points still up for grabs.
Posted on 5/17/09 at 4:35 pm to LSUTiger25
That is Arkansas's big event. They shouldn't have much after that.
Posted on 5/17/09 at 4:38 pm to matt10
they also have the 5k left which they normally get a boat load of points from....we need some people from other schools to step up and get in the mix

And simmons could be a pleaseant surprise in the 400
Posted on 5/17/09 at 4:39 pm to etow69
110 hurdles coming up. Barret Nugent can cut the lead if he gets a decent finish. No members from Arkansas in that final.
Posted on 5/17/09 at 4:40 pm to etow69
And the women still have the HJ...the problem is 60 points is a lot to make up...can be done...but still hard
