With what Trent left he has done ok. Team played above their talent last year a bit below this year. Martin took a little longer to come around an Tim q was way below expectations. We will be able to match up much better with teams around the league IMO when we have two larger guards who are reliable next year.

Won't do much in the future with CJJ. If you don't see that you need a therapist. He was mediocre with a mid major team. What made you think he would be better here. Good ole boy network got us by the nuts again!

I want to believe that but he took a major step back in in-game coaching this year. Hopefully, he proves me wrong next year but I'm not exactly sure we can trust all these evals saying these guys coming in will be legit.

I mean Hornsby has played well at the d1 level...and gray can score. I mean if anything else we will have some guys who can drive and get to the bucket and less of the pass around the perimeter 4-5 times and jack up a 3 or lob in to job and get triple teamed offense.

A bit below is an understatement. This is the most underachieving team in recent memory at LSU. Does the program have more talent overall than when TJ was here? Yes. But that doesn't matter if you can't get anything out of it. This was easily the most talented LSU team in 5 years, and we've got nothing to show for it other than a repeat of last year's results

Did you go to any of the games to start the season?
The expectations were predicated on having a top 10 recruit ball one and done style, having Malik Morgan take a step forward, Tim q providing quality minutes etc. If you watched from beginning of the season to end a large portion of those did not happen. JOB, hickey and stringer played to how they have done the past 3 seasons very well but with limitations. JOB gets in foul trouble and hickey and stringer can get shot over when the opposite side has two tall guards. Ive watched Tennessee do that 3 years in a row. Morgan and Tim Q were supposed to help avoid that.
As shown by UK the past 3 years-you can have you blue chips come in and wreck shop or come in and play like freshman. Ours (who were supposed to be the reason we took a step forward) played like freshman.
