Ole Miss falls to 14 but Houston jumps us. We could still finish the night ahead of them they have a game tonight against a good UCF squad and we are .0001 behind them.

Ah, thanks.

Not being a RPI expert. I assume we are rooting for Florida in game 16?

Either helps, MSU could make it to the top 25 in the RPI which helps in the view of the committee with a sin. If Florida can beat Kentucky we would have a big win against a very high RPI in Florida.

source?

I think it is a coin toss for tomorrow, both teams were away in their last game.

Where we stand with national seeds IMO (in no particular order):

Virginia
Florida
FloridaSt
ULL
Indiana
OregonSt
TCU/OSU/Texas (big12 spot)
*CalPoly/Rice/OM/LSU

Miami out/hurt by tourney performance comined with ACC already having 2 national seeds

Houston ...meh

*I only see one spot up for grabs given that I think the big12 is getting a spot one way or another and I also think ULL is in

Houston didn't finish well in a weak conference them playing in the state of Texas kept their RPI high they may not even host with Rice being a lock to host. Not sure if the committee would give two hosts to the same city.

Houston is out. Rice is a close lock. Who knows what the committee will think of Miami. I don't see how you can give one to cal poly. No to OSU.

TCU/OSU

if it's TCU vs Texas the two teams in the winners bracket TCU gets a national seed. if OK state beats Texas twice than the winner of that game gets the national seed.

as people have said before on this board CalPoly even though they don't have an impressive resume is the only team in California who will host that may help them. I think that is enough to give them a host but not at national seed

Rice probably has the best chance out of the teams left to get a national seed mainly because of their high RPI and if they win their conference tourney. Ole Miss I don't think get's it with going 1-2 in the SECt. If LSU losses tomorrow they may get back in the discussion but I still don't think they get it.

As some have said LSU needs to win the tourney to get a national seed, or hope Rice gets upset.

TCU has the big 12 spot.

I can't see cal poly getting it.
I think it'll come down to us and rice if we win out.

#OleMiss loses to #Arkansas 8-7 this afternoon. And boy, does that makes the national seed picture even muddier. Could that give #LSU hope?

That’s more so probably good news for someone like @TCU_Baseball at this point. Either way, will have to see how things stack up later today

Totally agree.

(And while I hate to say it, I think rice will get the nod. I hope I am wrong)
