Fundamental. Never make the first or third out at 3rd.

Dirty Sanchez strikes again.
Posted on 5/27/10 at 10:15 pm to csorre1
Sanchez had nothing to do with that.

Sanchez can take alot of blame this year, but its crap like this he gets blamed for when its not even his call

Maybe he thought he could catch the outfielder in a lob back to the cutoff man.

Look at the jackasses waving behind plate

I doubt that was javi's call
100% Hanover on that one. Saw the bobble and pushed for 3rd. Hell of a throw. I would have put that throw in the dugout.

Even if he didn't make the call in the game he's still responsible for teaching them when to run and when to stay.

Most over rated saying in baseball. If they knew they would get out, they wouldn't make the out at 3rd, or 2nd, or home, etc.

Nola up, Dean on 2nd, 2 outs...
Foul, 0-1...
Foul, 0-2...
Strikeout looking to end the inning, 7-3 Tigers, Bot 9

He saw the outfielder bobble it, took the chance. If its not a great throw, he's safe.

WTF is up with every moron in the stands getting on the phone and in front of a camera ? I've seen literally like 10 people do it in the past 5 minutes

I kind of like the aggressiveness. He got the ball quick after the bobble and made a perfect throw. He fricks it up with the throw or bobbles it a little worse, he's safe IMO

if "renaldo" and ross can build on these two outings.look out.
Coming into this season, I felt we really needed Ross, & he just hasn't delivered- he keeps this up & we have a real shot to advance on, which just a week ago, seemed impossible...

The point is that it is not worth the risk in those situations.
