I remembered Thompson better, he was great against us, but he's hurt now

top 2, Logan leading off against Brown

strikes out on a check swing

Deese up, 1 out

Personally, I'd rather see UK again

Deese draws a walk after a long at-bat

Do we care who wins this game? I kinda want another shot at UK.

Brown was 6.2 innings, 9 hits, 3 runs, 2 earned runs, 3 Ks against us.

But we shouldn't have lost that game.

I think we do OK against whoever they have going game 2.

Murphy up, Deese on 1st, 1 out

There was so much that went wrong in that UK series, I'd rather that happen in March than in June though

groundout 6-4, Murphy beats the throw to 1st

My memory is fuzzy, but as I recall it was the perfect storm of suckage.

We should have won all 3 but managed to blow 2 of them somehow.

Nulph up, Murphy on 1st, 2 outs

We lost one against UK because a ball hit Bregman on what should have been a game-winning hit, and another one because Foster dove for a ball and turned a single into an inside-the-park home run

flyout to right ends the inning

My memory is about as bad as yours, particularly when it comes to losses but that's pretty much how I remember it.

Can't remember Game 1. Game 3 was giving up the inside the park homerun in the 9th by Foster.

It's all coming back now. Was that when Stevenson pulled his hammy and Foster went out to play left?

bottom 2, Shelby leading off against Lipscomb

I think Fraley was having hamstring problems then, so Foster was playing LF

grounder to 3B, high throw gets away, but Shelby gets caught in a rundown between 1st and 2nd and is out at 1st

Yea. I was thinking the game that the ball hit Bregman was the Saturday Ole Miss game, but that was the game where Fraley blasted it to the wall and the wind kept it in.

Game 1 with the bases loaded vs Kentucky Hale delivered what should have been the game winner. Ball hit Bregman for the third out.
Then next inning Tom hits the ball to Chinea and it takes a weird hop and goes over his head for a 2 RBI double.

game 1 was an extra inning affair, I don't remember the play but apparently after getting the first 2 outs base hit HBP and than 2 runs score on Chinea error. IT was a 3 2/3 affair for Stallings who got the loss.

In any event, we beat them with their game 2 starter, so I expect the same results here.

ETA: That was the game Lange struck out 13.
