The kid is coming off of a major injury: career high of 1.1 IP and 39 pitches. Absolutely no reason to extend him in this game. This was a pressure/get feet wet experience for Jake. Anything else is cake. You are an idiot.

He's been back for a couple months now. No reason he can't give us 4 or 5 especially when you see he's cruising and having no stress out there. The kid didn't even break a sweat.
