They've benefitted from their tougher series being at home. If they play LSU in BR and Jay doesn't screw up how he now uses Evans and Cowan, LSU would take 2/3 from Tejas.

How is it Tx gets such favorable scheduling?

LSU would take 2/3 down there now. Jay would have gone straight to Evans in game 2. Lights out.

Is 2025 Mizzou the worst SEC baseball of modern time?

$$$$$$$$
The league kissed their arse in almost all sports with scheduling because of all of the money they add to the league.

Nothing else comes to mind
They've been run ruled in seven of their 18 losses

No one is excusing the basketball record. It’s atrocious. But don’t compare the basketball and baseball programs as if expectations are the same. The expectation is for LSU to be top 10 nearly every year in baseball based on the program that we have. If LSU finished top 10 in basketball it’d be considered the best season since the team went to the Final 4 in 2006. LSU baseball has been good this year. 12-5 is impressive; however, there are still some areas that need to be improved if they want to make a deep run or win it all, which is what most LSU baseball fans care about.

I've been asking myself this question for a few weeks, and after the way they've been absolutely thumped in most of their games lately, I think they are absolutely the worst team this league has had, certainly this century. I was a kid in the 90's, and remember LSU baseball, but not much else of what was going on in college baseball, outside of the other known powerhouse teams of that era. I haven't seen a team this bad in the SEC in the last 26 seasons, or so, since I started following the rest of college baseball, as a whole. I don't think I've seen a power conference team, in general, who was this bad.
Our series with them, looking back, was way more competitive than it should have been, even though we swept. Or maybe they've just quit, at this point, and that's why they get run-ruled almost every game, it seems.

Most of the best SEC teams they have played have been AT HOME

How many SEC wins will it take for teams to make the NCAA tournament this year?

No, they didn’t.

20 is probably the target for a top 8 seed.
LSU doesn't have to worry about making the tournament though. We're, basically, already a lock to make the tournament with 12 wins already.

13/14 to lock into tourny probably 16 to host and then 18 on bubble of hosting 19 locks it up

From many comments on here you would think LSU has Missouri record. Although, Missouri could shock the SEC world by winning SEC tournament and get auto bid. Hee, hee.

Mizzou didn't just get swept by Oklahoma. They got 10 run ruled in all 3 games. Mizzou is serious doo doo this year.
Kerrick Jackson, their HC, was part of a staff at Nicholls State that went 13-40 then 10-45 while he was the pitching coach. 2 of the 3 worst seasons in Nicholls history.

They will hit more than most all except for Reaves. His 28HRs didn't transfer to real pitching like you said it would. You were wrong again.
