They’re just as much in the Southeast as Missouri

And Iowa.

If nothing else I would love to be apart of their new, wave to the children’s hospital tradition. Easily the best new CFB tradition in the last 50 years.

SEC: Hey

Nebraska: you think they have more to offer what we already have?

Nebraska? I mean, Missouri seems like it's odd and quite out of the way. Nebraska? They have zero in common with the SEC. Having Missouri and A&M both in the SEC already is weird enough.

I would be content to welcome Nebraska and Iowa, kick the shite out of them, and get Thomas Fidone as a result. That would be sweet.

For those saying it wouldn’t be a good fit ...

Nebraska fans are some of the best in the nation. They live their football. I think it would be a great fit. Better than Mizzou at least...

I assume because Frost and the University dragged their nuts across the faces of B10 leadership yesterday in a press conference.

Explained how strongly he felt that players were safer due to football because they are constantly tested and because they adhere to stricter social distancing in order to be able to play. 3 players joined the press conference and echoed the same.

Also said the University will play football with or without the B10. They are prepared to join another conference or play as an independant this year if B10 cancels the season

Nebraska and Iowa are the 2 teams from the Big 10 that are willing to play the 2020 season

Seems like a weird fit.

But we also have Aggies and the Fighting Poop Swastikas in CoMo so how much weirder can it get. And Asa Hutchinson (R-Kansas) considers AR a midwestern state to boot.

It would be nice to have Omaha in the SEC footprint. THAT just seems right.

So yeah, let's do this.

Nevermind Nebraska is like that dude down the street who went from having all the toys and 3 divorces later has lost them all and moved to somewhere between Lafayette and Freshwater City. How many times they gonna change conferences?

I can name 20+ schools I'd rather have in the SEC over Mizzou.

Can someone tell me a good reason to have Missouri in the SEC? I understand wanting a Texas school. But does Missouri have some cache?

much better fit in the Big 12. Heck, with these two there would actually be 12 of them.

$$$

When they joined the SEC, only Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee had a larger population. More eyeballs means more money.

But is it a larger football watching population? New York has a huge population, but do Syracuse games get huge ratings? Do Missouri games get high ratings? (They might, I don't know the answer.)

Thats interesting AF, but I’m trying to wrap my heat around this. Are other schools going independent also? Like is that happening at all? Who would or could the huskers be playing in 2020?
