Ref throws hands in the air to blow the play dead; why wasn’t there a review:
2 players on the field with the same number, the return man was also number 4:
More than 11 players on the field:
Imagine if this was to happen to Bama

Was listening to a Penn St fan call in on Sirius ESPNU yesterday about a bad call in their game with Auburn. The talking heads just said welcome to SEC officiating. I just laughed.

That's the result of older senior citizen types trying to keep up with the speed of the game. Sure they know the rule book but miss on calls hence the number of replays. Hire some younger ones...former players and such to monitor the game.

During the Bama ‘FLORIDA game their was 5 pass interference calls on 3rd downs for bama . 4 were questionable as hell. All THOSE calls kept bama dives alive and led to scores.

They call enough makeup calls to make someone just looking at statistics think it was called fairly. The timing of the calls is the issue. Those for the Gumps either always extend a drive, take away a big play on the other side, while the calls against them are at meaningless points in the game. It was super obvious in the UF games. The PI that extended one of their early TD drives even got a groan from their cheerleader in the booth. Talk about phantom.

Considering the amount of money they get paid, is this a profession you’d like to pursue? There’s your answer.

Nothing new. I remember the Bear getting calls from SEC refs. Maybe they are not as bad as they are corrupt.
