Texas, A&M and Oklahoma are a package. No way those three will separate.

Yes. I agree. I was just talking about the Texas schools. Okie and Nebraska are also wanted by the Big Ten. Pac 10 after several of them too. Big Ten and Pac 10 do not want Tech because they are not a Tier One academic school. According to what I read.

I don't see Texas going to the SEC. But, I have heard that if the Pac10 pulls in the 6 teams they want then the SEC would try for Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, Miami and Florida State. I think it is all bs. Maybe it is all just a ploy to get ND in a conference.

My dream of a 16 team SEC would be to add Mizzou and Texas A&M in the West and Virginia Tech and NC State in the East. In reality I can only see Texas A&M as a possibility. Georgia Tech or FSU under no circumstances. GT was a charter member and left. FSU had its chance and passed on the offer.

Eastern Conference:
Florida
Georgia(replaced by UNC for basketball and baseball)
Tennessee
UNC
Miami(replaced by Duke for basketball)
Florida State
Ohio State
Penn State

Oklahoma was a charter member of the old Southwest Conference.
