Orlando

Sub Jacksonville soon we are building a new state of the Art top notch stadium. It will be ready 2028. Orlando stadium sucks. Jacksonville Jags will be in that starting 2028 too.

Especially if Alabama gets left out this year. Sankey will end it before the years up if it cost him a team in the playoffs, which it might this year

Jville would be perfect also with that new stadium going up here also.

Also, totally agree about Hoover. That might have been fine 25 years ago when no one cared about college baseball, but that place is too small, a traffic nightmare and a complete shite hole of a stadium. SEC baseball deserves way better.

Think how better it would be if baseball championship was at Daikin Park (Minute Maid or Enron Field for us old timers). Not forever but it should rotate to many other great parks in the SEC zone.

The big12 has their baseball tournament at the rangers stadium and the atmosphere there is awful. It’s a huge stadium that is mostly empty for the games.

I love college baseball, but it doesn’t need to be played in a 25,000+ seat stadium outside of Omaha.

Because the schools voted to have it there. The schools that are closer to Atlanta also have a selfish interest in having it there. Or at least that was the original reasoning.

100%! That game needs to be moved. The SEC President’s should demand it.

What does Hoover hold? Daikin holds like 40k I think that if you get 10-15k in attendance it would fill most of the lower seats. It wouldn't be that bad.

I really like the College Classic. Plenty of seats, all GA I think other than directly behind home plate.

You could use Constellation Field in Sugarland but it only seats about 8600. It does have suites though. I've been in them many times through work.

Well… if they started rotating, you still would know.

It’s not like they would announce the site a week before the CCG.

You’d know years in advance.

Not sure what I think about Nashville's lock on the basketball tournament

All conference tournaments and championship games should be rotated.

The only way the lowers there would be full would be LSU v. one of the Texas schools or the two Texas schools playing each other.

The SEC would never allow for good GA seating at Minute Maid. They have shrunk GA as much as they can at Hoover and squeezed in “premium” seating everywhere they can

Agreed. I can't think of a better advertisement for SEC baseball than a major league stadium sold out with fans for a tournament showcasing our college level talent.
